PerkBoard Accessibility Statement
Effective November 1, 2026.
Our goal
We want every resident to be able to use PerkBoard, including people who use a screen reader, keyboard, voice control, or larger text. We build and test the app against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.
What is in place
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
- Text and controls meet WCAG contrast ratios in each board theme, in light and dark mode.
- Form fields, buttons and icons have labels that screen readers can announce.
- The app follows your device's reduced-motion setting and turns off animations when it is on.
- Text scales with your phone's font-size setting, and pages work at phone width without side scrolling.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives.
Known limits
We review the app against WCAG 2.1 AA with each release and fix issues as we find them.
Perks and events in another format
If any part of the board is hard for you to use, the office can give you the current list of perks, perk codes and events in another format, such as a printed list, a plain email or over the phone. Ask the office, and the office will arrange it as it does any other accommodation request.
Tell us about a problem
If you run into something that does not work with your assistive technology, email support@perkboard.co and say which page and which device or software you were using. We aim to reply within 5 business days. You can also tell your property's office, and the office will pass it on to us.
